Nosebleeds

Hi There..I’m wondering if anyone has suffered from the occassional nosebleed during a migraine?

I’ve had migraines now for about 20 years but just recently started noticing blood, especially if I blow my nose.

Is this more common then I realize or something I should be concerned about?

    I also suffered from nosebleeds before I got on Topamax since I started on Topamax I haven’t had them. But occasionally my nose gets extremely dry, and it hurts a lot. When I blow my nose there is usually some blood. The doctor told they were allergies, I am not sure how true it is because I feel they are associated with my
    migraines…well, I’ve decided to get some moisturizing drops, which helps keeps my nose moist. It’s helped with the pain. I hope this information is helpful to you.

    I do get nosebleeds. When you are in pain typically your BP shoots up, this could be one reason you are getting them. I’d check your BP next time you get a headache (you can do this at Walgreens or Walmart) I have my own cuff, it was not really too pricey.
